A ‘Slap-dash Gourmet’…..that’s what I consider myself.
I love to cook and bake good food.
But more than that…..soooooooooooo much more than that I love to EAT!
My kitchen cupboards are overflowing with ingredients for all kinds of different cuisine.
But I’m lazy…..besides its just too hot in Chennai,India to slave in the kitchen all day!
So me, I take recipes and make them as easy as I can to suit me and the limited supply of economical ingredients available in this city.
I substitute, I boldly do without any hesitation…..but you know what? My food still taste good! (even if I have to say so myself)
With two growing kids and a health conscious hubby I’m constantly aware that my food needs to be healthy and nutritious.

Chennai has been my home for the last 15 years, but I am and always will be a true blue Bandra, Bombay girl…….these two places have moulded me.
In this blog I will share my dearest foodie experiences and recipes.
I will put in my easy substitutions and additions as well as add a resource guide to where to source the ingredients in Chennai.
